Information about Rules on Shell
Main rules :
- No Hack tools, UDP Flooder, Exploits, Fake website, etc... and everything which may disturb someone.
- No Hacking.
- No running overload CPU application ( ex. Minecraft servers = remove user, Bitcoins app = remove user)
- No ask me how install .... google is free :)
- No SPAM
- No using shell account for hosting malware
- Be nice for other users
What you can do :
- You can run what you want (according· with the rules above)
- You can run 20 background process
- You have access to big programming environment

- Your home directory is protected from other users !
- You can provide own website free
- You can park own domain free !

Server have hotspots against bots and scanning the network so please do not use the following ports

2. Firewall :
You can use the ports between 1000-65535 for your purposes
Max connection from this same IP address to shellmix server - 30
Blocked connections from shellmix account to another server :
23(Telnet), 22(SSH), 110(POP3), 25(SMTP),143(IMAP), 587(submission)
Blocked connections from shell account to shellmix ports :
25(SMTP), 30(SSHvShellmiX), 80(HTTP), 143(IMAP), 443(HTTPS), 587(Submission), 3306(MySQL)
All out UDP·ports blocked
3. MySQL
Mysql is working on localhost·
If you use Joomla, Wordpress, etc then put localhost as mysql host
Configure mysql database http://shellmix.com/phpadmin/
Login: (YOUR_LOGIN_NAME)_sql
Password: Your db pass
4. Shell Account
Resource limits (current):
cputime 15 min
memoryuse 100 MB
maxprocesses 20
vmemoryuse 2500 MB (For Java)
5. Vhost
Type command vhost on shell to see fresh vhost list
If you want use vhost for IRC
example· irssi -h jp8000.shellmix.com
6. Hacking, Phishing, Viruses, Exploits, DOS
TROJANS, VIRUS = Only file remove
HACK TOOLS, EXPLOITS, FAKE WEBSITE, DDOS SCRIPT = Remove file with user account

FTP is open on port 21 With SSL !!!

9. Mail·
You can send emails from webmail or from another mail client
Mailbox size = 200 MB
Mail max size = 15 MB
SMTP + SSL + TLS+ Auth + Antivirus·

POP3 + SSL + TLS + Auth+ Antivirus
Host : shellmix.com or mail.shellmix.com
Sending emails from shell is blocked· !!!
10. Blocked countries
Indonesia, China, South Korea· - Ban for all ip's from those countries to shellmix server and BGP router
Reason UDP Flood, IP Spoofing, IRC Spamming
